What is sproof Ident?
sproof Ident is a white-label web solution that aggregates all identification methods. This allows companies to perform a seamless and eIDAS-compliant identity verification of external parties in their own branding.
For the setup and testing of sproof Ident, a pilot project can be started via Customer Support.
Supported identification methods

ID Austria (eID): Verification using Austria’s official digital identity. This method offers the highest validation security through a state-recognized identity.

NEW: German identity card: The German online ID function has been integrated as a full-fledged identity provider (analogous to ID Austria) via the API.

NEW: Additional eID providers (basic data): From now on, alongside ID Austria and the German identity card, many other eID procedures from various countries are available for simplified identification with a reduced data set. This enables fast, straightforward, cross-border identification.

Auto-Ident: A fully automated identity verification process. Users can identify themselves quickly and easily using their identity documents and an automated live check.

EUDI Wallet (future integration): The module is prepared for connection to the upcoming European Union Digital Identity Wallet. This ensures the solution’s future viability and European interoperability.
Customization and integration

API interface: The solution can be seamlessly integrated into existing systems and applications via a powerful API, enabling a smooth workflow.

Custom Branding: The appearance of the entire identification process can be tailored to your corporate design to ensure consistent brand presentation.

Customizable texts and screens: The “Welcome Screen” and “End Screen” in the user journey can be adapted to the specific requirements and use case.
Queryable attributes
sproof Ident enables the secure querying and transmission of relevant identity attributes, depending on the verification method used. These include:

given_name: First name

family_name: Last name

birthdate: Date of birth

age_over_16, age_over_18, age_over_21: Age verification without specifying the exact date of birth.

signature_image: Digital representation of the signature.

main_address: Primary residence (available only when using ID Austria).

passport_data: Data from the passport.

passport_portrait: Person’s passport photo.
